Leila’s teachings are a fusion of Eastern and Western practices, including slow movement, breathwork, mindful awareness, self-massage techniques through acupressure and trigger point work, whilst incorporating self-compassion and inner awareness. Enjoy an energising Strala Yoga & Qigong flow, followed by Yin Yoga infused with self massage techniques, to release tension, improve your flexibility and activate your body’s relaxation response for overall well-being.​

For lunch and good times, we'll head around the corner to Zeitoun, a Lebanese restaurant which offers hot and cold mezza in beautiful and comfortable surroundings with friendly staff. Lunch will be served with a selection of infused cold drinks and herbal teas.

About the Mini Day Retreat
Nicky will be hosting a Strala Yoga session which uses the movement and healing wisdom of tai chi with the practice forms of Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as a way to help people release stress, heal, and move more easily through all kinds of challenges.

Leila will be hosting a Self Massage session through demonstrating different Myofascial release / self massage techniques combined with Yin Yoga postures. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, passive and meditative style of Yoga where poses are held for an extended period, targeting the deeper layers of connective tissues and fascia in the body compared to other more dynamic Yoga styles. By combining Yin Yoga and Myofascial release techniques, this works to relieve tension and pain by releasing trigger points (knots in the tissues), thereby significantly improving flexibility and mobility. 

ABOUT NICKY & THE CLAYGATE YOGA CLINIC

Nicky is a Strala Guide, Therapeutic Yoga Teacher & Shiatsu Practitioner, who specialises in working with adults and teens for Women’s Health, Sleep, Fatigue & Burnout, Stress & Anxiety, and Cancer & Beyond.  As the Creator Director of Claygate Yoga Clinic, she also collaborates with a team of holistic practitioners to offer Nutritional Therapy, Trauma Release (TRE), Massage (Remedial/ Shiatsu /Thai Yoga Massage), and DNA Testing.

Nicky has over 1000 hours of training in Strala, vinyasa flow and therapeutic specialisms. She also runs retreats, including a Women’s Health Retreat in Andalusia this coming October, and delivers popular webinars for workplaces, such as Parliament, Fidelity and Women in Banking & Finance (Wibf).

Nicky’s approach is welcoming and accessible, and she encourages people to move in a way that feels good.  When you find ease in effort, your body and life become capable and strong. ABOUT LEILA & WANDERING WELLNESS

Leila is a Sports, Remedial, and Therapeutic Massage Therapist, specialising in working with different chronic and acute pain conditions, sporting injuries, and postural issues.

In addition to her expertise in bodywork, Leila is a certified Fitness Instructor and holds a 300-hour Yoga Instructor certification, with proficiency in various Yoga styles, including Yoga Therapeutics, Yin, Hatha, and Vinyasa.

Leila's unique approach seamlessly blends Eastern and Western movement and bodywork methods, incorporating practices such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Functional Movement and Fitness, Qi Gong, and Classical Indian Yoga.

Adding a new dimension to her offerings, Leila is the founder of Wandering Wellness, a platform dedicated to holistic well-being. Through Wandering Wellness, Leila collaborates with a collective of experienced practitioners, expanding the range of wellness solutions tailored to address the diverse needs of individuals.
